Ein Geistlicher Haussegen, oder der \ Loth in gesellschaft derer Engeln in Sodomsflur, \ Kommt näher \ himmlische Heer \ Schaaren komt kehrt in meiner wohnung ein, mein herz euch \ ganz zu offenbaren, das soll die unterrednung seyn, bleibt über \ nacht in meinen hütten, wascht eure füss an diesem ort, Last \ euch bis morgen früh erbitten, dann ziehet eure straße fort so sich= \ er lebt mein leib und seele, mein gott in dieser abendzeit dir; ich \ mein leib und seel empfehle, Herr handle nach barmherzigkeit, \ ich weiß da bin ich aufgehoben nach dieser dunkelheit der \ nacht will ich dich morgen darum loben, du hast die wache \ wohl verbracht, Amen. Gott du bist überall, du weist mich \ wohl zu finden, du siehst auch in mein herz, bewahr mich Gott für sün= \ den. Translation:

A spiritual house blessing, or Lot in the company of angels in the region of Sodom.
Come closer, heavenly armies, come, enter into my dwelling. To reveal my heart to you completely shall be the interlocution. Remain overnight in my huts, wash your feet in this place. Let yourselves be asked until tomorrow morning, then go on your way, so my body and soul experiences my God in this evening time. I commend my body and soul to you; Lord, act with mercy. I know I am well taken care of after this darkness of the night; I will praise you tomorrow for it. You have completed the watch well, Amen. God, you are everywhere, you know well where to find me. You also look into my heart. Preserve me, God, from sins. God the Almighty, bless, preserve and protect you in the temporal, but most of all in the eternal, through Jesus Christ. Amen. Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The central text in Fraktur, and on penciled lines, extends across the upper portion of the document. In the lower two corners are two branches with a pair of opposing birds perched in them. At the lower center is a basket with flowers.
