Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. In the center of the document is a large tulip with three flowers. In the lower corners are two inward-looking birds. The text in Fraktur is written vertically in the upper corners as well as along the bottom edge. Small drawings, often lacking inscriptions and referred to as bookmarks by collectors, were given by schoolmasters to their students as rewards for good behavior and scholastic accomplishments.
