Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The first two lines in Fraktur and the remainder of the text in German script extend across the document. The area around the first two lines is decorated with flowers. The owner's name and date within a rectangular frame are in the lower center of the document. It is flanked by two birds perched on flowers. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. Christian Alsdorff is also known as the Earl Township Artist.
