This little writing book belongs to Barbara Hunsickerin, writing student in the Perkasie school. Written on the 23rd of January, 1786.

Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur and German script is within a heart in the lower center of the document. The text is surrounded by various flowers. Below the heart are two bunches of flowers. In the lower corners are an inkstand with a quill and a hand holding a quill. Above the heart are two birds with interwined necks and flowers next two them. In the upper area are two outward-looking birds. Between the is a flower with several stems. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. This bookplate has been removed from the book for which it was made.
