Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur is in the center of the document. The first line is written in particularly prominent and decorative letters. The text is surrounded by various flowers. In the lower center is a decorative shape that also serves as a frame for some text. In the lower corners are hearts from which protrude flowers. The entire item is enclosed by a decorative border. Small drawings, often lacking inscriptions and referred to as bookmarks by collectors, were given by schoolmasters to their students as rewards for good behavior and scholastic accomplishments.
