Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The item is divided into eight rectangular portions. The main text in Fraktur is in the largest portion in the center. Two additional verses in Fraktur are in the lower corners. In the upper corners are two lines in Fraktur that are written along the sides and tops of angels with trumpets and flowers. The year within a heart that is surrounded by flowers is in the upper center. In the lower center is a heart that is surrounded by flowers. The main text is flanked by two male figures wearing long coats and tricornes. The entire item is framed by a decoratve border. The text in the center is from Hymn of Praise to God. The side sections are pledges to "strive to furnish my soul with beauty."
