Little harmonious melody book about the best known songs from the Marburg Hymnal. Prepared for Abraham Meess, singing student in the Rockhill school. Written the 18th of January, anno 1788.

Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur and German script within a heart is in the center of the document. One line in Fraktur is below it. The heart is flanked by two leafy, flowering stems. In the upper center is a tulip. The entire item is enclosed by a border that is decorated with a leafy vine. This bookplate has been removed from the melody book for which it was made.
