Photograph showing mounted police pursuing a demonstrator up stoop during the 1910 trolley strike riots.Three patrolmen on foot, one wielding a nightstick, look on. Also shows pedestrians on the sidewalk seemingly unfazed by the melee.
Photograph mounted on board. Hand-drawn enhancements were made to print prior to its publication in the Evening Bulletin of May 4, 1934. A clipping of the published image is pasted on the reverse side of the mounting board. Caption reads: "Arrest that man!" Mounted police pursue disturber right into a house in the 1910 trolley strike riots.
