Translation:

Sophia Druckenbrod (daughter of John Druckenbrod and his wife Maria, a born Schumacherin) was born the 4th day of March 1827, and was baptized the 5th day of August 1827, from Wm. Bätis. Sponsors were Samuel Druckenbrod and his wife Maria.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur in a rectangular frame is in the center of the document. The area around is divided into eight rectangular sections. In the corners are circular sculptures on pedestals. On the sides are diamond shaped patters. In the upper center is a large flower. In the lower center is a stem with several undulating flowers. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. Samuel Bentz is also known as the Mount Pleasant Artist.
