Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur and German script within a heart is in the center of the document. Above it is a winged angel head. To its sides are leafy stems of flowers. Along the upper and lower edges of the bookplate are decorative borders.  This bookplate has been removed from the melody book for which it was made. David Kulp was formerly known as the Brown Leaf Artist.  This is one of four extant closely-related bookplates made by Kulp in January 1812.  The others include ones for Maria and Barbara Gross and Anna Ladtermann (FLP B-1036).
