Ein jeglicher \ sey gesinnet wie Jesus Christus auch war \ Welcher, ob er wohl in göttlicher gestalt war, hielt ers nicht für einen raub, Gott gleich \ seyn, sondern äußerte sich selbst und nahm Knechts gestalt an, ward gleich wie ein ander \ Mensch, und an gebärden als ein mensch erfunden. Er niedrigte sich selbst, und ward gehorsam \ biß zum tode, ja zum tode am Creutz. Darum hat ihn auch Gott erhört und hat ihm \einen Nahmen gegeben der über alle nahmen ist daß in dem Nahmen Jesu sich beugen sollen \ alle der knie die im Himmel, und auf Erden, und unter der erden sind. Translation:

Everybody shall think as Jesus Christ did also, who, even though he was in the form of God, did grasp for equality with God, but instead emptied himself and assumed the appearance of a servant, was like any other man and was made in gestures like man. He humbled himself and was obedient until death, yes, until death on the cross. Therefore God heard him and gave him a name that is above all names, that to the name of Jesus shall bow all knees that are in heaven, and on earth and under the earth. And all tongues confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, to the honor of God, the Father. Phil 2, from the 5^th to the 11^th verse.
