Diesen beyden Ehegatten als \ Henrich Rudy und seine Hauß Frau Catha= \ rina eine gebohrne götzin ist ein Söhnlein zur welt gebohren wie folgt Henrich ward \ gebohren im Jahr unsers HErrn 1800 den 4ten Abrill Gott schencke ihm ein Langes \ leben in dieser Zeit und nehme ihn hernach zu sich in die ewige Seeligkeit \ Geschrieben den 12ten February im Jahr unsers HErrn Jesu Christi 1802


Translation:

To these two married people, namely Henrich Rudy and his wife Catharina, a born Götzin, a son was born into the world, as follows: Henrich was born in the year of our Lord 1800, the 4th of April. May God grant him a long life in this time and hereafter take him to Himself in the eternal blessedness. Written the 12th of February in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 1802.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur, with the final line in German script, extends across the entire document. The first two lines are written in prominent and decorative calligraphy. The text is surrounded on the left and top by various stars, flowers and other decorative elements.
