Translation:

To these two married people, namely Isaac Buffington and his lawful wife Hanna, a born Fischer, a daughter was born into the world, named Catharina, in the year of our Lord 1810, the 10th day July at [blank] o’clock, in the sign of [blank]. Baptized by pastor Daniel Ullrich, the [blank] day [blank]. Sponsor was Catharina Fischer, single. She was born in Upper Paxton Township, Dauphin County, in America, in the state of Pennsylvania.

How different must my name resound to God, who only knows his own. He has accepted me in baptism, called me his child quite fatherly. In his hand he records me, nothing can erase me.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered; printed form. The printed text in Fraktur with blanks infilled by hand is within a rectangular frame in the center of the document. On each side is a flowerpot with stems of flowers and two birds. The notation on the reverse was written in German script in pencil.
