Und Heyrathete Dinstags \ den 28ten Tag März 1815 Elisabeth \ Weberin, Sie ist geboren im Jahr 1778. \ den 28ten Tag January, Diese beyden Ehe= \ Gatten zeugeten miteinander die hernach benahmten \ Kinder. 
Maria Gäbel ist gebohren im Jahr 1816. den 29sten \ Tag März im Zeichen Widder. 
Henrich Gäbel ist geboren im Jahr 1817. den 11ten \ Tag October, und starb den 22sten Tag des \ instehenden October.
Johannes Gäbel ist geboren im Jahr 1818. den 29sten \ Tag November, im Zeichen Schütz, und starb im Jahr 1819. \ den 2ten Januari.


Translation:

This Bible belongs to Johannes Gäbel, and he was born in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 1780, the 3rd month March. And married Tuesday, the 28th day of March 1815, Elisabeth Weberin. She was born in the year 1778, the 28th day of January. These two married people conceived together the children named hereafter.
Maria Gäbel was born in the year 1816, the 29th day of March, in the sign of Aries.
Henrich Gäbel was born in the year 1817, the 11th of October, and died the 22nd day of the same October.
Johannes Gäbel was born in the year 1818, the 29th day of November, in the sign of Sagittarius, and died in the year 1819, the 2nd of January.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur extends across the entire document. The first two lines are written in particularly decorative and prominent letters. In the lower center is a winged angel head, flanked by tulips. The entire document is enclosed in a decorative border. This bookplate is also a family record.
