Translation:
All your life have God before your eyes and in your heart and refuse to agree to any sin, nor act against God’s commandments.
[1.] Do not save your penance from one year to the next; you do not know when you will have to go from this world. After your death you must go before God’s countenance. Oh, think diligently of that, don’t save your penance.
2. Don’t save your penance until you have become old. You don’t know the time nor the hour, how long you will live on earth. How soon leaves man’s lust for life, how soon it happens. Don’t save your penance.
