Notes:
According to Daniel and Kathryn McCauley (see bibliography), Anna Stoltzfus lived from 1799-1870 and was probably the second child of John and Veronica (King) Stoltzfus. She married Christian Petersheim, an Amish immigrant, about 1820. They lived on a farm in Mascot, Lancaster County, PA and had five children.
Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. In the middle of the document is a three-stemmed flower that protrudes from a semi-circle. The text in Roman script and Fraktur is next to and within the semi-circle. The document is framed by a decorative border.
