Lehna Rupberin, was born to Christian parents who are attached to the evangelical Reformed religion, in the province Pennsylvania, in the Township Alsace, in the town Reading, Berks county, in the year of the Lord 1785, the 22nd of February, and was brought to the holy baptism, and the father is the honorable Phillip Rupber and the mother Catarina. The honorable sponsors were Stephan Rost and wife Magdalena from whom she received the name Magdalena. Johannes Stahl.

Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur and German script is in the center of the document. In the upper corners are two star-shaped flowers, and in the lower corners are two hearts. The areas between them are decorated with a variety of flowers and fruit, including tulips, pears, and apples.
The signature at the bottom of Johannes Stahl is interpreted to be that of the artist, though the designs are closely copied from the work of Conrad Gilbert.
