This 1966 photograph was taken by Evening Bulletin photographer Richard Rosenberg.  The text accompanying the photo read:

"Mr. Albert Kuptsow tells his six year old son Hyam about the six million slain Jews, standing at the base of the monument, noting this era in history."

The monument is located where Arch Street meeets the Ben Franklin Parkway, near 16th Street.  Its title is "Monument to Six Million Jewish Martyrs," created by sculptor Nathan Rappoport in 1964.
