This is an undated photograph of the General Galusha Pennypacker Memorial, by sculptor Albert Laessle.  The monument is located on Logan Square, where Vine Street meets the Ben Franklin Parkway, near 19th Street.  Pennypacker (1842-1916) was a native of Chester County.  At age 22, he became the youngest general to serve in the Civil War.  The monument was installed in 1934.
