A memorial service for Holocaust victims at 16th and Ben Franklin Parkway featured a wreath-laying at the foot of the memorial statue located there, and a candle lighting as well as a ceremony for liberators. The ceremony was in memory of the liberation of Holocaust survivors. Several hundred gathered for the service. Members of local temples place wreaths at the base of the statue at 16th and Ben Franklin Parkway.  This photo was taken by Todd Buchanan, of the Philadelphia Inquirer staff.
