This undated photograph was published in a course catalogue for Temple University. The monument pictured behind the seated gentleman is called "Kopernik," installed in 1972, in honor of the 500th annniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus, the Polish mathematition and astronomer. The monument was created by sculptor Dudley Talcott (1899-1986) and is located at 17th Street & Ben Franklin Parkway.
