Ein Comet Stern sehr Blasser farb, in Pensylvanien, erschienen im Jahr 1769 im August \ Ihr Menschen fragt euch doch, waß dieser Stern thut deuten Ob Gott euch straffen will \ ach thut doch Buß bey Zeiten
 


Translation:

Up to the Judgment; up, do not miss it.
A comet star of very pale color appeared in Pennsylvania in the year 1769 in August. You people, ask yourselves what this star may mean, whether God wants to punish you. O, do penance while there is still time.
