This lovely 1925 lithograph was created by Craig, Finley & Co., Lithographers, Philadelphia.  It shows an artist's aerial view conception of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, from the back of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, to the City Hall building at the top.  By 1925, the Parkway, the Art Museum and grounds, and the Free Library's Central Branch--all in the picture--were still at various stages of construction.  This image is a rendering of the yet-to-be-finished projects, superimposed over a photograph of the area (see the next item, #pdcp01043).

Facsimile of image used in the exhibition, Corridor of Culture: 100 Years of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Parkway Central Library West Gallery, September 2017-November 2018.
