Translation:
This hymnal belongs to me, Margareth Wenhold. She was born on the 5th day of December in the year of our lord and savior Jesus Christ 1811. Life in the world is like a flower in a garden which we have in the morning and which is already withered in the evening. Like a fog quickly arises and soon goes away again, so our time passes; we hasten to eternity.
