Rühren nicht die Vöge= \ lein, morgens ihre \ Züngelein so geschwind \ der tag anbricht; \ lassen sie daß \ dancken nicht.
Auf dem grü= \ nen Bum im Wald, \ dem Vögelein sein \ Lob erschallt.
 

Translation:

Don’t the little birds move their little tongues as soon as the day begins? They don’t refrain from expressing gratitude. From the green tree in the woods the little birds’ praise resounds.
