Hand-drawn; hand-colored. In the center of the document is a deer. In the upper right corner are several flowers. The document is framed by a decorative border.

Small drawings, often lacking inscriptions and referred to as bookmarks by collectors, were given by schoolmasters to their students as rewards for good behavior and scholastic accomplishments.
