Translation:
Georg Bentz was born into the world on the 10th day of September 1808, and was baptized on the 11th day of January 1809 by Johann Faber. Sponsors were his parents.

Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur as well as two fan-shaped ornaments are within a circular frame in the center of the document. Above and below the frame are decorative ornaments, including two tulips. The entire item is framed by a decorative border.
Samuel Bentz was formerly known as the Mount Pleasant Artist. Though different from his usual format, this certificate's handwriting closely compare's with Bentz's, and the common surname sugests a familial relationship between artist and recipient.
