Keep from now on to the pious so you will receive the crown of life. Such wishes from the heart your faithful godfather Ludwig Pfeifer. Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur and German script is within a heart in the center of the document. It is surrounded by flowers, including carnations. The term Höle may refer to Hölle (hell) or Höhle (den, cave).
