(left side): Oak Hall celebrates its 20th Christmas by presenting to its friends this little Christmas token.
The year 1881 has been the most prosperous in point of sales since Oak Hall was established in 1861-- we have enjoyed the continued favor of old friends and found many new ones.
To one and all we wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
With great respect Wanamaker & Brown. S.E.Cor. 6th and Market Sts.
(right side): Oak Hall's plans for 1882 are liberal & progressive in each department. For Mens Ready Made. For Boys Ready Made. For Custom Tailoring. For Manufacturing Shirts. For Manufacturing Neck Wear.
We shall improve and add to our excellent service. The larger our business grows, the better and cheaper our friends are served. The purchasing power of so large a business allows us a sufficient profit in itself. We can give great value and pay for good work, and make enough profit in what can be saved in buying such larger lots of goods.
We hold fast to the four cardinal points 1 One price, 2 The guarantee, 3 Cash payments, 4 Return the money, and the business must grow under our careful system that obliges faithfulness to all parties.
