Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text within a rectangular frame is in the center of the document. The upper border is framed by a banner containing the word Pennsylvania, with two flowers at each end. At the top center the letter G appears, framed by a compass and square, in a diamond shaped block in the upper center. Below the text frame is a flowerpot with a variety of flowers, flanked by two birds. For the reverse of this item, see FLP 315v.
The compass, square, and G (for geometry or God) that are included on the fraktur are common Masonic symbols.
