Translation:

Margaretha was born the 1st of September 1798 our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And she was baptized by Pastor Andon Hautz on the 5th of October 1798. The sponsors were Peter Klock and his beloved wife Elisabetha. The parents’ names are the honorable Jacob Klock and the mother Catharina a born Diehlin. God may give him a long life [added in script] I was married to David Schlabig on the 27th day of July [ill.]

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The central text in Fraktur and German script is framed by a decorated border and flanked by hearts containing verses in German script. At the top and bottom of the document are two rows of semi-circles. Potted tulips surround the hearts. The entire document is framed by a decorative border.
