Translation:

Georg Simon Hausser was born to Christian and honest parents, in the year of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 1806, on the 23rd day of [blank], in West Penn Township, Northampton County, in the state of Pennsylvania. His father was the honorable Michael Hausser, and the mother was Catharina, a born Wittersteinen. This above mentioned son was born into the world; he was also baptized and accepted by Pastor Scheffer, a Lutheran preacher and servant of God’s word. As sponsors were present Georg Simon Wehr and his wife Alberdina.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur is in the lower center of the document. It is flanked by two tall plants with various flowers. In the upper center is a star-shaped flower. The entire document is framed by a decorative border.
