Covers made from uninked embossment on Canson Mi-teinte papers that have been hand colored with Caran d'Ache crayon.
The artist used a "reductive approach to making the plate, almost like that of a woodcut, in contrast to the additive approach to platemaking used for the less-detailed interior images."
