As a reminder and constant memorial, I wanted to give this to you after your baptism. Grow up in God’s honor, and to the joy of your parents, and the good of your neighbor and your salvation. Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text within a rectangular frame is in the center of the document, flanked by two people. On the left is a woman wearing a gown and bonnet, and on the right is a man wearing a red coat, knee breeches, and a tricorn hat. The man is holding two objects, possibly wine glasses or musical instruments. The entire document is enclosed by a decorative border. An inscription on the reverse contains genealogical information.
