Der Vater ist der ehrsame Georg Heist \ die Mutter heißt Susanna, eine gebohrne Kielerin, als eheliche Christ= \ liche Eltern. Die Taufzeugen sind, Adam Heist, und seine \ frau Susanna. Birth and Baptismal Certificate
Saara Heistin was born in the year 1808 after the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the 19th of March at 8 o’clock in the evening, in the state of Pennsylvania, Berks County, Rockland Township, and on the 5th of June, 1808, by Christ’s orders, Matthew 28:19, was baptized and named Saara by Mister Daniel Lehmann, Evangelical Lutheran preacher and servant to God’s Word. The father is the honorable Georg Heist, the mother is called Susanna, a born Kielerin, namely Christian parents. The sponsors are Adam Heist and his wife Susanna. Give thanks to the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, etc. Col. 1:12, 14.

O! What an incomparable good do you, Lord, give to your children. The water and at the same time the blood, Lord, you are giving to the poor sinners. Three things that above all bear witness on earth, the blood, the water and the spirit, they can raise us up to your life of joy.
