Die dazu gebeten \ Tauffzeugen waren Daniel Gebhard und \ Anna Catharina Heningerin und haben \ ihr den Namen beigelegt als \ Ledia

Translation:

To these two married people, namely Christian Heninger and his bodily wife Eva Catharina, a born Gebhardin, Lutheran religion, a daughter was born into the world, named Ledia, was born in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 1790, the 27 March at 5 o’clock in the evening in Macungie Township, Northampton County, in the state of Pennsylvania, and was subsequently on the 29 April brought to the holy baptism, and baptized by Mister Buskirg, servant of God’s Word. The requested sponsors were Daniel Gebhard and Anna Catharina Heningerin and gave her the name Ledia.

Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The central text in Fraktur is enclosed within circular frame decorated with scalloped borders and leafy vines, flanked by two flowering vines. Additional verse from Ecclesiastes 12:1 is in a small heart at the bottom center. Two angels holding flowers are in the upper corners, and at the top center are two birds and a vine, all enclosed in a circle.
