Die Tauff \ zeugen waren Georg Semmel und Eva \ Klotzin beide ledig \ und haben \ ihn den Namen beigelegt \ als \ Sara \

Translation:

To these two married people, namely Tobias Semmel his wife Maria, a born Klotzin, Lutheran religion, a daughter was born into the world, named Sara, was born in the year of our LORD Jesus Christ 1810, the 17 January at 9 o’clock in the evening in Whitehall Township, Northampton County, in the state of Pennsylvania, and was subsequently on the 15 February brought to the holy baptism, and baptized by Mister Geisenheimer, servant of God’s Word. The \ sponsors were Georg Semmel and Eva Klotzin, both single, and gave her the name Sara.

Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The central text in Fraktur is enclosed within a circular frame decorated with scalloped borders and flowering vines. Additional verse is in a small heart at the bottom center, flanked by a bird on a branch and a swan on water. Two angels holding flowers are in the upper corners, and at the top center is a bird on a vine within a circle.
