Die Tauf \ zeugen waren Jacob Luin und seine Ehe \ Frau Margaretha \ und haben ihr den Namen beigelegt \ als \ Salome

Translation:

To these two married people, namely Conrad Krum and his wife Elisabth, a born Schneiderin, Christian religion, a daughter was born into the world, named Salome, was born in the year of our LORD Jesus Christ 1806, the 1 March at 4 o’clock in the afternoon in Heidelberg Township, Northampton County, in the state of Pennsylvania, and was subsequently brought to the holy baptism, and baptized by Mister Helfrig, servant of God’s Word. The \ sponsors were Jacob Luin and his wife Margaretha and gave her the name Salome.

Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The central text in Fraktur is enclosed within circular frame decorated with a scalloped border and rosettes, flanked by two birds and flowering vines. Additional verse is in a small heart in the bottom center. Two angels holding flowers are in the upper corners, and at the top center is a flower within a circle.
