Come here, o, you people, come here, see miracles and hear new stories; God came from Heaven into a women, and took from her a pure body. 2. Oh, Father’s word, the son of god, came in the flesh and wants to repent for Adam, our father’s fall, who damned us everywhere.

Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text is within a heart in the lower center of the document. Two outward-facing birds and a fan on a pole are atop it. Along the sides and in the corners are leafy, flowering vines. Two additional outward-facing birds perched on branches are in the lower corners.  The initials SK on this fraktur probably stand for Samuel Kriebel, based on FLP 168, inscribed with the name Samuel Kriebel.  Both fraktur bear some relationship to works by Benjamin Kriebel (1780-1844) dated 1803 and 1805. The text is a Schwenkfelder Christmas hymn and is number 53 in the Neueingerichtetes Gesangbuch.
