Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The central text in fraktur is within a circular frame in the center of the document. It is flanked on each side by a leafy stem of flowers that emerges from a heart. The entire document is enclosed in a decorative border. This fraktur is attributed to the Berks County Artist, also called the Reading-Berks Artist and Bern Township Artist. Frederick S. Weiser and others have speculated that this artist may be Peter Gilbert, son of the fraktur artist Conrad Gilbert, but this remains unproven.
