Hand-drawn; hand-colored. In the center of the document is a leafy pink rose with two large blossoms and one bud. The entire document is framed by a decorative border. Floral drawings depicting pink roses were popular among Schwenkfelder artists during the 19^th century.

Small drawings, often lacking inscriptions and referred to as bookmarks by collectors, were given by schoolmasters to their students as rewards for good behavior and scholastic accomplishments.
