Hand-drawn; hand-colored. In the center of the document is a leafy pink rose with two large blossoms and one bud. The entire document is framed by a decorative border. Floral drawings depicting pink roses were popular among Schwenkfelder artists during the 19th century.

Small drawings, often lacking inscriptions and referred to as bookmarks by collectors, were given by schoolmasters to their students as rewards for good behavior and scholastic accomplishments.
