Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. In the center of the drawing is a leafy plant with three star-shaped flowers. The name in Roman script is on the bottom.
Frederick S. Weiser noted that this piece was probably from Berks County.
Small drawings, often lacking inscriptions and referred to as bookmarks by collectors, were given by schoolmasters to their students as rewards for good behavior and scholastic accomplishments.
