The first notebook of student questions asked by James Wilson in his law lectures, delivered in Philadelphia beginning in 1790. The notebook, handwritten by James Wilson, is one of 69 in the Free Library of Philadelphia's collection. Some notebooks include edits by his son, Bird Wilson.

The notebooks were given to the Free Library in 1968-1969 by James Alan Montgomery, Jr. They are housed in the Rare Book Department.
