Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. One line is written beneath a winged angel head at the top center of the document. The other lines are within a heart in the lower center. The heart is surrounded by a profusion of leafy stems of flowers as well as four birds. Beneath the winged angel head are two angels bearing trumpets and flowers, flanking a tulip. The entire document is enclosed within a decorative border.
Notation on mat reads “After Oberholtzer.” This fraktur incorporates design motifs used on fraktur by Johann Adam Eyer and a school of related fraktur made in the vicinity of Bucks County.
