Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. In the center of the document is a compass work drawing. The text in Roman script is above it and in the lower right corner. The document is enclosed on both sides by a decorative border. This bookplate was probably for a manuscript copybook, prepared for David Kulp by his teacher Jacob Heaton and later signed by Jonathan Collom, probably a second teacher.
