Diese Tochter \ ist den 15ten Tag Februar Anno 1799 von den ehrw. \ Herrn Pfarrer Friedrich Miller getauft und genant \ Sahra Hillin. Taufzeugen sind Johannes \ Conner und seine Ehefrau Catharina.

To these two Christian married people, namely Mister Friedrich Hill and his wife named Catharina, born Gonnerin, a daughter was born into the world, the 15th day January, 4 o’clock in the morning, in the year 1799 after the birth of our Lord Jesus, in the state of Pennsylvania, Columbia County, Briar Creek Township. On the 15th day February, anno 1799, this daughter was baptized and named Sahra Hillin by the honorable Mister pastor Friedrich Miller. Sponsors are Johannes Conner and his wife Catharina.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur is within a rectangular frame in the center of the document. It is flanked by two inward-facing female figures. The one on the left is holding a purse and a bird, and the one on the right is holding a purse and a wreath. Next to each of them is a flower, and above them is a cloudlike motif.
