Ein schöner Christlicher Hauß segen, \ für alle fromme Hauß väter: und Hauß mütter, \
Jesu Wohn in meinem Hauß, weiche nimmermehr daraus, sey mit \ denen ins gemein, die da gehen aus und ein, wohn mit deiner gnad \ darin, weil ich sonst verlassen bin, o du grosser segens mann, komm \ mit deinem segen an, Gib fried freute glück und heyl, daß meinem \ Hause werd zu theil, gleich wie Hiob und Abraham, reich und \ Segen über kam, Ey so schütte über mich, deinen segen Mildiglich \ Jesu wohn in meinem Hertzen, wann ich leide angst und schmertzen, \ wann mich drücket Creutz und Noth, so hilf mir o treuer gott, wann \ ich nicht mehr reichthum habe, bleibt mir doch die Himmels gabe, \ ob ich hir schon Trübsal leide, bleibt mir doch die Himmels freude, \ Jesu wann ich kranck da liege, so tröste mich mit deiner liebe, hilff \ daß ich dich such im gebät, wann gleich mein hertz in ängsten steht, \ sprich du mit zu ein gnaden wort, ich bin dein schutz schild Heyl und \ Trost, weil du mich suchst in diesem leben, so seyn dir auch dein \ sünd vergeben, und wo vergebung der Sünden ist, da lebt die \ Seel aufs aller best, wann schon der leib im grabe steht, und auch \ zur Erd und asche wird, muß er auf stehn am jüngsten Tag, ohn \ alle sorg und ohne Klag, des freu ich mich Herr Jesu Christ, \ der du auch mein erlöser bist, so werd ich auch in deinem reich, \ ein Erben seyn den Engel gleich, und leben da in wonn und freud, \ von nun an bis in die Ewigkeit. Dieses habe ich dem dreyeinigen gott geschrieben zu Ehren, \ und allen Menschen zum segen, die es lesen und hören.

A beautiful Christian Houseblessing for all devout house fathers and house mothers.
Jesus, dwell in my house, never leave it, be united with those who go in and out of it; live in it with your grace because otherwise I will be abandoned. Oh you great man of blessings, come with your blessing. Give peace, joy, happiness, and grace that will become part of my house. Like Job and Abraham, shower me with your abundant blessings. Jesus, live in my heart. When I suffer from fear and pain, when hardship and need weighs me down, help me, oh faithful God. When I no longer have wealth I will still be left with the gifts of heaven. Even though I may suffer sadness here I am left with the joys of heaven. Jesus, when I lie here sick, comfort me with your love; help that I seek you in prayer; when my heart stands in fear, speak to me a word of grace. I am your protection, shield, salvation and comfort; because you seem me in this life, all of your sins may be forgiven, and where there is forgiveness of sins, there lives the soul in the very best way. When the body already lies in the grave and also turns to earth and ash, it must rise at the Day of Judgment without any sorrows and complaints. Of this I rejoice, Lord Jesus Christ, who is also my Redeemer, so I will be in your kingdom an heir like the angels, and live there in bliss and joy, from now on to eternity. Amen. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
