Translation:

To these two married people, namely Abraham Lucas and his wife Rebecka, a born Anthonis, a daughter was born into the world in the year of our Lord 1837, the 20th September, in Towamensing Township, Northampton County, state Pennsylvania, and received through the Holy Baptism the name Maria Anna. The sponsors were Joseph Braun and his wife Maria.

Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur with blanks infilled variously in German and Roman script, is within a rectangular frame with arched top in the center of the document. It is flanked by two vases with flowers. In the upper corners are two stars, and above the text are two leafy vines of flowers. The entire document is within a decorative border.
