Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The name in Fraktur within a border of leafy, flowering vines is in the lower portion of the document. Above it is a decorative element with a bar and two arches. Three stemmed leafy flowers protrude from its center, flanked by two inward-facing birds and various additional flowers. The entire document is enclosed in a decorative border.
According to Frederick S. Weise, this fraktur was probably the wrapper of a copybook.
