Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Roman print extends across the entire document. The areas between the words are decorated with lines. The entire document is framed by a decorative border, which includes a row of yellow fruit at the bottom, possibly pears or lemons. This bookplate is in The Holy Bible (New York: American Bible Society, 1848)   (PA GER New York 1848 B471).
